In the MXF::SDK, developers will find a robust C++ implementation of an easy to use API, with detailed interface documentation. Tutorial kind of documentation completed with sample applications is also included. With this tool, you will cut development time and reduce your time-to-market!

But don't confuse easy to use interface with limited functionality. The interface is easy to use because it uses advanced Object-Oriented Programming software patterns to ensure that, although a full featured Object-Oriented model of MXF is exposed, it is still simple enough for any developer to quickly become familiar with it.

The MXF::SDK also provides extension interfaces that allow you to adapt it to your needs, and develop even highly customized solutions.
o If you have a proprietary storage device and you need it to integrate with existing applications that already use the MXF::SDK, or if you need to build a new MXF aware application that can access that proprietary storage solution or,
o if you need to store a new Essence type (even a proprietary one) in a MXF file or,
