theScribe is an extremely flexible MXF annotation application.
With theScribe, you can add Metadata to an MXF file, describing the whole file, clips or events.
With its ability to plug-in Metadata schemas, you can choose the one that suits you most: DMS-1, another standard format or any schema you use within your organization. And in the language of your choice!
The Metadata is synchronized with the Essence, and fully compliant with DMS-1 (SMPTE S380M).
theScribe provides enhanced interoperability with Sony XDCAM/e-VTR, Panasonic P2, Ikegami EditCam, Grass Valley Infinity MXF and devices:
o MXF files creation according to manufacturers' MXF structures;
